On April 7th , the Duchess posted a thoughtful essay of

"IF"s.

It has stayed with me and I have enjoyed it as

a thought provoking look at myself.

If I were a fruit I would be a strawberry.

If I were a dessert, I would be Strawberry Shortcake with whipped cream.

If I were a perfume, I would be Chanel # 5.

If were a gemstone, I would be a pink diamond or tanzanite.

If I were a castle, I would be the one pictured above.

If I was a musical instrument I would be a saxophone.

If I were a song, I would be "Jesus Loves Me."

If I were a color I would be pink or sage green.

If I were an emotion, I would be contentment.

If I were a taste, I would be sweet & salty.

If I were a museum, I would be the Louvre.

If I were a country, I would be America.
