happy birthday!

My daughter, Jade,

and her friend Holly,
celebrated their birthdays together
with a very fancy black and white birthday party.

 I made the cake

 and babysat the grandkids.

Looking forward to seeing pictures
of their lavish affair!

Happy 23rd, Jade
Love you.

  1. What a BEAUTIFUL CAKE MY FRIEND! Just curious, why black and white? SOOOO GORGEOUS, but I love the DIFFERENT choice of colors!

YOU DO NOT look as if you have grandkids! Getting ready for school dearest? I cannot believe this summer is almost gone.

  5. Hello there dearest! Well, that cake is stunning and it looks so moist!!! Well, summer is still sweet; I am sitting here in my front room with all the windows and door open to let in all the glorious sunshine. August 25 is my day to get back with my colleagues to plan the year. Kids come back after Labor Day and then things go into full swing. God bless you sweet Susan as you embark on another God-given year of precious little souls and hard work....well worth the labor.

    HAVE FUN TOO!! Anita

  6. Happy BDay to my sweet baby sis. :)
Love that cake, Mum. I've decided I'll give you cooking lessons (promising to go easy on the pepper...) and you give me baking/decorating lessons!!! :) Deal??
Anita, the cake is black and white because my sister and her friend who nearly share a birthday had a formal "black and white" party to celebrate. The cake matched everyone's ensembles. :) :) :)
    It's AWESOME!!!
