seeing stars

I was home today.
*first*snow*day *of *the *year *
Olivia and I hung out while her mom was at work,
playing peek-a-boo, tickle monster, and dancing to
"Santa Claus is Coming to Town."
while she was napping,
I tried to refresh my memory
and make a few moravian or swedish or german???
It seemed a lot easier when I made them in the past.
They came out so much more polished.
I'm thinking it must be the paper I used.
I wonder what paper is best for making
Christmas stars
(That's what I'll call them.)
any suggestions?

  1. It's snowing! Love your snowy blog!
My favorite it the little tough guy. How adorable is he!

  2. Hi Susan, I love your little birds shinig in the snow. Have a great day...julie

  3. You lucky are the second teacher today I have left a comment to that had a snow day. We hardly ever get snow days at our school...not because it doesn't snow but because our school would have to be completely snowed under before we got one. But snow is coming our way by the!!!

  4. I am having so much fun here playing in the snow. I also love your Christmas german stars (and I'm really not sure what they're called either). I think that they really turned out beautifully.
