God bless America land that I love...

The flags are waving

in the summer breeze...

There's a cake in the oven for my daughter, Jade's cook-out tomorrow, that will look like
this when it's decorated.

But , my husband and I won't be going to the cook-out.

We'll be packing up our bags

and heading north to attend

the wedding

of my very dear friends' son,

{who happens to share my birthday}

It will be held at

Zorvino Vineyards

in Sandown, New Hampshire.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of beautiful pictures to share.

I L.O.V.E weddings!

he lives!

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.
Matthew 28:6aI serve a risen Savior, he's in the world today;
I know that he is living whatever men may say;
I see his hand of mercy; I hear his voice of cheer,
And just the time I need him, he's always near.
Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian,
Lift up your voice and sing.
Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ the king!
The hope of all who seek him,
The help of all who find,
None other is so loving, so good and kind.

Chorus:
He lives, he lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life's narrow way.
He lives, he lives, salvation to impart!
You ask my how I know he lives?
He lives within my heart.

magical day

"Salagadoola menchicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo
Put 'em together and what have you got
bibbidi-bobbidi bibbidi-bobbidi bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!"

Today my daughters and I
enjoyed complimentary tickets to
"Disney on Ice."

It was Olivia's first major production!

In the afternoon,
my youngest daughter had
an
Easter
egg
hunt,
and the Easter Bunny came.

Dayton was cool with the bunny...

but Livi...

not so much!

Wishing you a blessed Easter.

It feels like starting over...

I stop at Dunkin Donuts to get a coffee on my way to school in the morning.
I drink my coffee black.
If I want to drink it right away I have to pop in an ice cube.
How fun it was to get to school and find heart-shaped ice cubes in the freezer on Valentine's Day!
I couldn't resist posting a few Valentine photos.  I LOVE Valentine's Day!
But...I have not been able to access the internet on my home computer since the end of January!
To make a long story short, if anything could go wrong,
or if there could be any glitches involved,  there were!
Suffice to say that I've missed you very much,
and I'm happy to be able to get back in touch!!!
Absence does make the heart grow fonder...
It's late, but,
I'm looking forward to catching up on all that has been going on
as soon as I can!
Thank you, so much to those of you who have left comments while I've been out of touch.
It means a great deal to me!
Blessings!

happy new year!

Having been inspired by Tracey
my friend Teresa and I,
along with a few very special kiddos,
spent part of our
New Year's Eve
making
 party
hats
!

Olivia had a little help from the boys.
That white crayon just didn't cut it!

I jazzed up this photo using picnik.  {fun}

We spent some time eating fancy foods...

I had never seen cheese in
*snowflake*
shapes!
YUM
and we talked
and played
'til the
ball

dropped
in
Times
Square
!
Today I'll spend some time recounting events from the past year,
planning improvements for the next,
and counting my blessings
which includes
 all of you
who have opened up your lives
to inspire
and
to share
and
to encourage.
Happy
2010.

*peace*

We are blessed!

I spent most of yesterday shopping with my friend at the after Christmas sales.
It sounds crazy, I know.
But it really was a blast, and it wasn't the mob scene I thought it might be!
We
had
FUN!
Anyway, here's a few pics from Christmas Day.

My holiday table~

My family~
My youngest, trying to get my grandson to smile...
my son-in-law, grampie and d, and tired boy!
He had a party with his other grandparents the night before...

Middle daughter and her boyfriend, holding sweet girl
My oldest, and her husband holding his favorite niece

My friend, Teresa
in the background listening to
Grampy and D's deep discussion!

My brother and sister-in-law, here from Arizona.

My sweet mom wasn't able to make it here this year,
but we were able to share dinner, and a visit later in the day, at her house.

I bought these fun tool Christmas lights at an after Christmas sale last year for my Dad.
They were to decorate his workshop. I never did get to give them to him.
I lit them all season in his memory.
We sure miss you, Dad...

and my favorite photo....precious Olivia.

Gifts in abundance...Thank you Jesus.

Hope your Christmas was filled with precious memories!
